Before we start, a quick announcement (an ad? maybe): our 2026 price list is here! For the latest offers, add our official LINE: @goldiapple (remember the @).

Golden Apple Aesthetic Clinic's main contracted filler is Juvéderm. If you really want Restylane Kysse or Teosyal, that is of course fine too, but please tell me when you book so I can order it in from a friend's clinic.

Hyaluronic acid filler prices

Of course, price is not the only consideration, because fixing a failed treatment often costs far more. I often meet patients who went to a studio, found a NT$10,000 Juvéderm syringe cheap, and had 6 to 7 cc injected at once. When everything failed, they came to me and spent NT$30,000 to 40,000 to dissolve it all, ending up paying more in total.

Especially for areas with more complex blood vessel risks, such as the tear troughs, nose and forehead, there is no second chance. Choosing the doctor is always more important than choosing the price.

My filler price post got a warm response on Dcard

Filler prices are asked about constantly on Dcard, so I wrote a filler price post there directly. The replies and private messages I received were beyond my imagination, which shows how curious people are about this question.

The aesthetic market is very opaque, and prices differ enormously between brands and areas. The question patients ask me most is: "Dr. Ou, how much is tear trough filler? How much is chin filler? How many cc do I actually need?"

My Dcard post on 2023.01.27 received a warm response, which genuinely surprised me. Will Dr. Ou get sacked in the street for revealing prices? :)

2026 hyaluronic acid filler price cheat sheet by brand

The table below matches what I posted on Dcard in early 2023. As more brands have entered the market I have updated the list, but prices are about the same, so please use it as a reference! The top brands in the world are really Juvéderm and Restylane, which together take more than two thirds of the high-end filler market.

Of course, the doctor's skill is still the most important factor, but I hope this article helps you understand what a reasonable price is for each brand, so you can avoid the pitfalls.

Filler prices for 7 areas

When I chat with patients in the consultation room, I find that many of them instinctively check filler prices on Dcard first and compare prices between clinics.

More important than the price is whether this brand suits this area, and how many cc you really need. I have met quite a few patients who were talked into 10 syringes at once because 1cc was cheap, or had 5cc pushed into the nasal base. Is that really cheaper?

I have personally tried every filler in the list above. They are like lipstick shades: all red, but matte (particle type) and glossy (gel type) give different dimensionality. Cheaper does not necessarily mean worse quality. It mainly depends on the area and budget, and above all on the doctor's skill.

The keywords below are problems patients often struggle with, and filler can solve them. I have also listed this clinic's price for each treatment for your reference.

(1) Tear trough filler price: hollows under the eyes that make dark circles look deeper

Tear troughs are mainly divided into eye-bag type and hollow type. Hollow-type tear troughs can be solved with filler, and I usually recommend 2cc: one syringe in the deep cheek (apple cheek) for support, and one small-molecule syringe in the superficial layer to smooth the groove. (Further reading: Which type of tear trough do I have?)

  • Recommended dose: 2cc
  • Treatment price: Juvéderm 2cc NT$27,000 / Korean filler 2cc NT$17,000

(2) Chin filler price: short chin, recessed chin, undefined jawline

The main purpose of chin filler is to sculpt the shape of the chin and improve a recessed chin. After treatment you will usually find that having a chin looks so good, and the proportions of your whole face become more refined.

If you would rather not use filler, a collagen stimulator (Radiesse) is also a good choice for the chin: it is firmer, less likely to migrate, and gives a more defined look.

  • Recommended dose: 2~3cc depending on how recessed the chin is
  • Treatment price: Juvéderm 2cc NT$27,000 / Korean filler 2cc NT$17,000

(Further reading: Which brand of chin filler do I recommend?)

(3) Lip filler price: thin lips, or wanting a smiling-lip shape

Lips become thinner with age, and lip filler builds a three-dimensional lip shape. I have tried many brands on lips: I have injected my wife's lips with Cutegel, Juvéderm, Restylane and Teosyal. My own top recommendation is Juvéderm or Restylane Kysse, which give natural dimension and support, with no foreign-body feeling when you press or kiss XDD

(Further reading: Which brand of lip filler do I recommend?)

  • Recommended dose: 1cc
  • Treatment price: Juvéderm 1cc NT$14,000 / Restylane Kysse 1cc NT$16,000

(4) Nasolabial fold filler price: improving a hollow nasal base

Hollow-type nasolabial folds are usually caused by a naturally recessed nasal base in the bone, or by hollowing after wearing braces. I recommend 1~2cc; not too much, or the midface easily becomes puffy.

If your budget allows, you can go straight to a collagen stimulator (Ellanse), which is less likely to migrate and lasts longer.

  • Recommended dose: 1cc
  • Treatment price: EPTQ 1cc NT$8,800 / Juvéderm 1cc NT$14,000

(Further reading: What type of nasolabial fold do I have? Can I use filler?)

(5) Hollow cheek filler price: hollows that make the facial contour uneven

Besides collagen stimulators, if you want an immediate fill for hollow cheeks, filler can plump the face and smooth the facial lines.

  • Recommended dose: 2cc
  • Treatment price: EPTQ 2cc NT$17,000 / Juvéderm 2cc NT$27,000

(Further reading: How to fix hollow cheeks?)

(6) Temple filler price: hollow temples that make the cheekbones look high

Hollow temples can be like a bottomless pit, so for very hollow temples 3~4cc is possible. For a first treatment I suggest starting with 2cc and adding more in stages if it is not enough.

  • Recommended dose: 2cc
  • Treatment price: EPTQ 2cc NT$17,000 / Juvéderm 2cc NT$27,000

(Further reading: What material should fill hollow temples?)

(7) Forehead Ellanse price: filler in the forehead is strongly discouraged

Filler can fill hollows in many parts of the face, but the forehead has many later problems. More than 90% of patients develop a "memory foam effect" (pressing the forehead leaves a dent in the middle like memory foam). Even if it does not appear in the first year, it can turn into the memory foam effect years later.

The best materials for forehead augmentation right now: Ellanse or Radiesse.

The forehead is like the Tarim Basin: a large hollow needs a fairly high cc count to fill it flat. If the dose is not enough, local hollows are easily left unfilled and the forehead will not look smooth.

Forehead augmentation usually takes 2~3cc. If budget is a concern, Radiesse is cheaper than Ellanse, but Ellanse lasts longer in the forehead, at least 2 years.

  • Recommended dose: 2~3cc
  • Forehead price: Ellanse 2cc NT$44,000 / Radiesse 3cc NT$38,000

(Further reading: Forehead filler vs. Ellanse forehead: which is better?)

(8) Nasal root filler price: improving a flat nose

I actually do not recommend nasal root filler much. Compared with nose sculpting (thread rhinoplasty), filler can hardly achieve the same defined look, and the nasal root easily widens later. I have met too many patients who recently came to have their nasal root filler dissolved and redone with nose sculpting. If you are not ready for nose sculpting, you can try it once, but I suggest only 1cc, no more.

  • Recommended dose: 1cc
  • Nasal root filler price:

Most common fillers are priced per syringe of about 1 mL (commonly called 1cc), but always follow each product's original specification. You can multiply the price of one syringe of a brand by the number of syringes an area needs to roughly estimate the cost of treating that area, and how much your wallet will hurt.

Tear trough filler: safety matters more than price

A quick concept: large-molecule filler imitates bone, medium-molecule imitates muscle, and small-molecule is for fine sculpting of superficial lines.

To shape the face you must choose large-molecule filler to create a firm, upright contour. For areas such as the tear troughs, small-molecule filler is used for fine detail. See my article "How to choose a tear trough brand and avoid caterpillar lumps" for details.

Tear trough filler should be done with high-resolution ultrasound, using Juvéderm Voluma + Volite to achieve the best result.

If your budget allows, I recommend choosing top brands such as Juvéderm, Restylane and Teosyal for the tear troughs and lips, because their longevity and dimensionality are better.

Korean fillers are cheaper. Are they necessarily worse?

For other areas such as the temples, nasolabial folds and nasal base, apple cheeks and hollow cheeks, you can choose Korean or Taiwanese fillers, because their performance shows no significant difference.

If you do not insist on Juvéderm or Restylane, you can save quite a lot on filler prices!

EPTQ is a low-sensitivity filler that Dr. Ou personally likes to use. Golden Apple patients often hear me mention it.

Why do filler prices vary so much between brands?

"Dr. Ou, which brand of filler do you use? Is it Juvéderm?"

There are countless filler brands on the market today. It is like handbags: the first names most people can call out are LV, Gucci and Coach.

In my mind, the LV is Juvéderm. Juvéderm contains lidocaine for comfort, and offers every firmness from extra-large to extra-small molecules.

Besides price, the doctor's skill and aesthetic sense are of course the most important factors. Before the injection, please communicate clearly with your doctor about the look you want, so you do not spend money without getting more beautiful!

Frequently asked questions about filler prices

How much is a reasonable price for 1cc of filler?

You cannot judge from a single number. Brand and model, volume per syringe, treatment area, planned number of syringes and the doctor's experience all affect the cost. The tables in this article are a starting point for comparison. At your consultation, ask the clinic to write down the full product name, volume and total number of syringes.

How many cc do tear troughs and the chin usually need?

This article lists common estimates from the clinic, not a fixed dose for everyone. For tear troughs, first read tear trough filler choices and risks; for the chin, see chin filler brands and dose highlights. The actual dose still depends on your bone structure, soft tissue and any previous filler history.

What are the warning signs of risk in filler injections?

Common reactions include redness, swelling, pain, bruising or tenderness. Rare but serious risks include infection, nodules, and filler entering a blood vessel, causing tissue necrosis, vision changes or stroke. If you have unusually severe pain during or after injection, skin turning white, gray or blue, vision changes or suspected stroke symptoms, seek medical care immediately.
